HotelTime connection to certain channel manager systems allows setting of preffered RateCodes in case of group reservations.
You can use this function in case when reservation with more rooms is sent to HotelTime with multiple RatCodes. In this case it is possible to set which RateCode in that reservation will be preferred and under which the reservation will appear in HotelTime
Together with customer support you can set the order of your RateCodes.
This function is ideal in case of RateCodes where some action is necessary. For example deposit settlement, or contacting the guest. This RateCode can be set as preferred.
