You can use this function if guest is making a payment in person, but when he places the card to the Adyen terminal (or inserts it into the terminal) the card is not working. It may be caused by broken card or chip. In this case it is still possible to make the payment via the Adyen terminal from HotelTime or manually

Procedure for making MKE payment from HotelTime:

  1. Choose payment by terminal in the reservation detail in HotelTime or in the Settlement section.
  2. Choose option Manual card entry and send the payment to the terminal with Pay or Pay and create deposit invoice

4. Follow the instructions on the payment terminal to make the payment (you will need to insert the CC details, number, expiry and CVC).

Note:  With any manual operation with a payment card, keep in mind PCI rules

3. Insert the payment to the reservation in HotelTime (create Deposit invoice or settle the reservation)

Tip: If you wish to keep the card details for a future use, you can also check the Create token option in the picture above. In that case, card details will be saved in the reservation in secure format for future use.
